What We Do

At Empire South, we provide compassionate, holistic NDIS services that support individuals in Heathcote and the surrounding areas, empowering them to live independently and confidently. Our program offers tailored support that focuses on the unique needs of each person, promoting growth, well-being, and community connection.

In addition to our NDIS services, we also operate a shop that provides a supportive, inclusive, and hands-on learning environment for people who want to enter mainstream employment but need some help getting there first. Through our employment support program, every purchase you make helps provide valuable work experience.

Discover Your Best Self

As a participant in our program, you will be supported 1:1 to overcome barriers and build the practical and hands on skills you will need to enter the workforce in a positive, relaxed, and supported environment at our gorgeous Heathcote boutique. We cater for ages 15+ and places are limited.

About Us

Empire South is run by Amy, who is a passionate support worker with over 15 years in the support industry - including high intensity and psychosocial supports. Amy is passionate about mental health, promoting independence, capacity building, and positive outcomes for participants.

Some of What Our Program Offers Participants:

  • The opportunity to be part of something meaningful for you. Our program is delivered flexibly, and we take a holistic approach to supports.
  • You will learn hands on practical employment skills including but not limited to - cash handling, work presentation, time management, online order picking and packing and customer service.
  • the opportunity to explore your creative self and to offer your own products and creations for sale in the store - we love upcycling!
  • to learn the skills needed to run your own online microbusiness.
  • Opportunity to build social capacity and engage in public transport training. We can also offer transportation if required.
  • The feeling of being a valued team member in a supportive, inclusive, and positive work environment.
